6 Asheville City Council candidates advance to Nov. election with 3 seats available

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — In the race for Asheville City Council, 20 candidates were vying for the six spots that will move to November's election.

The projected candidates to move on to November's election are Drew Ball, Maggie Ullman, Jeffrey Burroughs, Keith Young, Antanette Mosley and Sheneika E. Smith.

Jeffrey Burroughs is an artist, small business owner, and community advocate, known for their work revitalizing Asheville’s River Arts District, particularly in the wake of Helene.
